Privacy at Sublocation
Updated 14 October 2026
Sublocation helps adult room hosts and club organisers share and book spaces. For questions about your information, contact [email protected].
Your account and Google sign-in
We store your name, email address, account preferences, and the information needed to manage your bookings and listings. If you use a password, we store a salted password hash, not the password itself.
Google sign-in is optional. It requests basic identity information: your name, email address and profile. We store your Google account identifier, name and email to recognise your account and sign you in. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar or contacts, and do not retain Google access or refresh tokens. Your Google identity information is not sent to our room-scanning AI.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google account information is not sold, used for advertising or used to train AI models.
Listings, bookings and photos
We store the room details, schedules, booking requests, scans and photos you submit. Listing details and attached room models and reference photos become public when you publish a room. Unpublished scans are visible to their owner. Incident reports and evidence are available to the reporter, the relevant room host and authorised service administrators.
When you request an AI booking draft, photo-based room layout or incident photo assessment, the submitted text and relevant images are sent to Google Gemini for that task. AI output is an estimate for human review. Keep people, personal documents and other private information out of room photos. A RoomPlan JSON import is processed by Sublocation without being sent to Gemini.
Video-based 3D reconstruction
When you choose Reconstruct room, your walkthrough video is uploaded to our private object storage and sent to KIRI Engine to reconstruct a photographic 3D room and mesh. KIRI is a separate service from Google. Videos are processed only after you confirm the upload. Unpublished models remain private; the finished model becomes visible to visitors when attached to a published listing.
Source videos are removed from our storage after successful processing, with a seven-day automatic expiry for remaining uploads. KIRI states that it retains generated models for three days; we copy completed models into our storage so published tours remain available. The resulting scan is not a measurement or safety certificate.
Payments
Stripe processes payments for room bookings through our payment account used by Mokinkis.lt. Checkout includes the room price and a 10% platform fee. We send Stripe your account email, booking reference and payment amount. Card details are entered on Stripe’s checkout and are not stored by Sublocation. We retain payment references and amounts with your booking. No protection or insurance charge is included.
Storage, cookies and service providers
Information is stored in Sublocation’s database and handled by our hosting and network providers to run the service. Google processes sign-in and requested AI features under its own policies. We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in and protect the sign-in flow. Server and network logs may include your IP address, request details and technical errors for operating and securing the service.
Your choices
You can use email and password instead of Google. You can revoke Google access in your Google Account settings; this does not by itself delete your Sublocation account. To request access, correction, export or deletion of your information, email [email protected] from your account email. We may need to verify the request and retain records required for legal obligations or resolving an existing dispute.
Account, listing and booking information stays in the service until removed through account administration or a verified deletion request. Demo accounts are shared demonstrations: do not put private information in them.
